Synopsis:
Frank-architecture is a studio founded on an honest and straight forward approach to design. Frank Strathern BSc Arch [Hons], Dip Arch, [Director] develops intelligent design solutions for every project, finding new ways to bring in more light and create additional space with minimum disruption. Frank is always sensitive and responsive to client briefs, budgets and site conditions.

Before setting up his own practice in 2010, Frank worked as an Associate for Allford Hall Monaghan Morris from 2000 to 2008. During that time, Frank was project architect and lead designer on the Barbican Arts Centre refurbishment project [RIBA award 2007].

Frank trained at the Mackintosh School of Architecture in Glasgow and has a modernist, no-nonsense design approach. His interest is in creating spaces that work hard and are delightful to be in.
